I kind of feel sorry for the Nextdoor.com, good organized religion, website owners. Theirs was a good business idea, only to be destroyed by trolls and others who wish to hurt people. The BBB complaints are now at 235. A lot of fourth dimension, money, and labor went into the creation and edifice of that site. I would imagine maintaining the site is no picnic either. Time will tell.
January and February 2020 Update
The BBB complaint count was 269 in January; the February count when I checked is at 287. The complaints generally keep to reflect the opinions stated in this review and accompanying comments. Every bit previously mentioned, the Facebook Groups are your better bet. If a Facebook Group goes bad, one tin only select some other (Facebook usually has more than than one group per boondocks); with Nextdoor.com, that selection isn't available.
April 2020 Update
Well, I dropped by the BBB website. The complaint count was 312 when I looked. Nextdoor is at present demanding that people ship them copies of their drivers license. My speculation is that Nextdoor.com is trying to go rid of all the trolls. The complaint count for Nextdoor.com is now at 360: BBB website. Search engine results continue to show postings about privacy invasion and about Nextdoor.com selling your personal information to advertisers (I seriously doubtable this also includes telephone solicitors); the Better Business organisation Bureau is now posting a warning: "...BBB recommends consumers review the company's guidelines & policies section prior to using NextDoor.com services.".
January 2021 Update
The complaint count for Nextdoor.com now stands at 450: BBB website. In addition to everything else, these days posting whatever sort of political comment on Nextdoor.com is not a practiced idea.
April 2021 Update
Apparently due to the high book, the BBB is no longer posting all the complaints nearly Nextdoor.com. The BBB says in role, "...or BBB may brandish a portion of complaints when a loftier volume is received for a item business organisation."

The BBB complaints now stand at 527.
October 2021 UpdateAccording to the news, Facebook is also having bug. And and then it goes... It is not just Nextdoor that is a mess. It is club that is a mess.
Nothing really new to written report. Meta (Facebook) is famous for misinformation. Nextdoor is famous for trolls.
